Our Vision
R.E.A.L. Ministry's purpose is to offer deliverance to lost souls and draw them to Christ. This is accomplished through teaching the Word of God and receiving revelation from the Holy Spirit, so that we may learn how to apply God’s Word to our everyday lives. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and we operate under an apostolic anointing to include the Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist (Ephesians 4:11). This is a multicultural church where people are restored to their rightful place in God by walking in His power, abundant love and obedience to His Word.
About Us
R.E.A.L. Ministry
Restoring Edifying Abundant Love (REAL) Ministry began as a rhema word from the Lord in December 2022 as God released Pastor David and Prophetess Leslie Mackey to go forth in ministry. At the time of release, they sought God's heart, mind and will together on how to proceed and received Godly counsel from leaders, as God directed them. Clearly hearing the voice of God and receiving direction, REAL Ministry was birthed.
Senior Pastor - David Mackey
Senior Pastor David T. Mackey received salvation and the gift of the holy ghost in 1994. While serving in various capacities in ministry, he acknowledged the call on his life to pastor in 2004. He received his Pastoral ordination in 2006. Just like David in the Bible, after being called and ordained, God had him to serve for many years as He prepared him to lead. Pastor David has a passion for ninistering to men and marriages. His desire is to see men stand and be the whole man God has ordained them to be and for marriages to flourish. Pastor David believes that God desires a multicultural church and that our differences are what make us beautiful just like everything God has created.
Pastor David and Prophetess Leslie married in 1998 and have 2 adult children, Zion and Zari Mackey
Co-pastor - Prophetess Leslie Mackey
Prophetess Leslie Mackey was born and raised in the church. She accept Christ as her personal Savior in 1990 and was filled with the Holy Spirit at that time. As a little child, she knew that God dealt with her in dreams and visions. She too was ordained in 2006, in the office of the Prophet. She has served in multiple capacities in ministry including Praise and Worship Leader and Armor Bearer.
What We Believe
God
We believe in one God manifested in three forms as God the Father, Jesus Christ & The Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16) and another manifestation of God himself. We believe He was born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:31) and performed miracles, signs and wonders throughout His ministry. We believe in the crucification of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin (Colossians 1:14) for ALL men and that in his death, burial and resurrection (1 Peter 1:3) on the third day we receive redemption (Ephesians 1:7), reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18), healing (Isaiah 53:5) and victory.
Holy Ghost
We believe that the Holy Spirit is another manifestation of God, is real, is a comforter (John 14:26) and is a gift from God (Acts 2:38) to help guide is into truth (John 16:13) and gives us power to overcome (Acts 1:8).
Baptism
We believe in the baptism of the body in complete submersion under water as a representation of us dying to the old man and being born again in holiness to our God. We baptize in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38).
Five-Fold Ministry
We believe in the five-fold ministry that is outlined in scripture (Ephesians 4) Prophet, Apostle, Pastor, Teacher & Evangelists. God has given us governmental offices to govern the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13).
Spiritual Gifts
We believe in the impartation & use of the spiritual gifts outlined in scripture (1 Corinthians 12:1-11). These gifts are a benefit to the body of Christ that we may minister to one another. We believe in the prophetic move of God and that God still speaks through his servants.
